 A gung-ho (yet recently disillusioned) pilot is shot down in war-torn former Yugoslavia, after photographing illegal mass graves. He then spends the rest of the film running away a lot, while his paternal-yet-gruff commanding officer yells at his superiors and yaks into his radio, trying to save the lad. Badly shot and edited, this throwback to '80s jingoistic pap offers few thrills and doesn't even make an attempt at characterization. Even with shoot-outs, jet plane action and cat-and-mouse soldiering, this isn't nearly as much fun as it could have been. Wilson looks lost throughout, and the majority of the film is sorta dull and cartoonish, with an egregiously idiotic climax that wouldn't convince the slowest five year old.  {fbt_slider_post}
